  • 8 tbsp 8 red bean paste (preferably chunky types)

  • 4 tbsp 4 salted butter (at room temperature)

  • 8 tbsp 8 whipped cream

Directions

  • Cut each bread slice into 2 equal triangles and toast them until golden brown.
  • While the bread is still hot, spread the butter on each portion. Then, spread the red bean paste on top. Serve with a pipe of whipped cream on top of each piece.

Notes

  • You can make whipped cream on your own by mixing 2 cups of heavy whipping cream and 4 tablespoons of sugar in an ice bath for 8 servings.
  • The same applies to red bean paste. For 8 servings, you’ll need ½ cup red beans, ⅔ cup granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt.
