How to solve the sluice puzzle in BG3? ›

In this section will be a manhole that leads to the lower city sewers. From here, follow the path north to the Undercity Ruins. Shoot the body that's hanging above the blood droplet markings to unlock the door. Alternatively, show the door the Amulet of Bhaal and tell it who you killed.

Although there were previous statements saying that all companions would be romanceable, Minsc is a non-romanceable option in BG3. Being a well-established lore character, it makes sense as to why this would be the case. However, you can still gain approval and disapproval like with any other party member.

For that reason, we suggest freeing and not mutilating this new lifeform. Us is basically a small, temporary advantage in the earliest chapter of the game - a controllable, and pretty powerful (if limited) ally who has a lot of health and some good melee attacks that match many of the standard Baldur's Gate 3 weapons.

The sluice gate is a non-rising stem type. The gate is opened by rotating the operating mechanism in a counter clockwise (open left) direction.

Jaheira's unwavering resolve will then force the Emperor to comply. However, if you didn't bring Jaheira with you or if she died during the battle, you'll only be given one chance to convince the Emperor to protect Minsc with a rather high Intimidation check or History check.

Neither choice affects the ending of Baldur's Gate 3, and becoming an Unholy Assassin only changes a couple of things in the short term, so it's better to defy and kill Sarevok. Still, it's impossible to say that a single story choice is either universally good or universally bad in Baldur's Gate 3.

In Balur's Gate 3, players can defeat the antagonist Sarevok Anchev, known from the previous episodes of the BG series. Killing this Bhaalspawn during the playthrough of the Investigate the Murders quest will provide gamers with worthy rewards such as the Amulet of Bhaal, Sarevok's Sword of Chaos, and his helmet.

Starting with the temperature valve, interact with it and wait until it reads "Perfectly Warm" at the top of the screen, then shut it off. Quickly do the same with the pressure valve until both valves read that they're perfect. Once a valve has been turned off, its level will slowly start to decrease.
